The Racor RK23191 all-steel and ceramic water in fuel (WIF) probe is designed to meet IMO marine requirements. This passive probe design has a durable construction with a 303 stainless steel housing, ceramic insulator, stainless probe tip and durable plastic connector housing. The connector will attach to an external pigtail harness with yellow and black 18 AWG wires (no polarity).
The water in fuel probe assembly is 100% tested to 100 PSI (6.9 bar) and features the reliable SAEJ1926 o-ring design for a durable service life. When used with a Racor water detection amplifier (ordered separately), the fluid electrical resistance is measured from the probe tip to the housing, which serves as the ground. This WIF sensor is suitable to be used with all Racor Turbine, Spin-on, DFBO, and 800 Series diesel fuel filters / water separators that have a metal filter bowl or metal filter housing.
For high flow applications with 1/2" NPT ports, for example FBO, DFBO, and RVFS series filters, use with Racor bushing #73249.
