LifeLink man overboard danbuoy and horseshoe life buoy that automatically inflate after release and coming into contact with water.
This Lalizas product consists of an inflatable flotation unit in a horseshoe shape with a preinstalled lifejacket SOLAS light, an inflatable danbuoy with a flag and a sea anchor. These ready-to-use components are folded and packed in a bag within the supplied case.
The compact case is constructed from a durable HDPE material and is easily installed on the vessel’s rails. The case measures 46.5(H) x 27(L) x 13cm (W).
In a Man Overboard emergency, pulling the stainless steel pin will release the bottom lid of the case allowing the safety equipment to fall securely into the sea.
The horseshoe and danbuoy are equipped with automatic inflators and CO2 cylinders so they will be automatically inflated as soon as they are immersed into the sea, without any further action needed.
Then, the man overboard should get closer to the inflated equipment and place the horseshoe under their arms and lock the buckle. The danbuoy will provide visibility as it is designed to stay vertical to the surface and hold the flag on its high top.
All components that fall into the sea are connected with a rope so there is no danger of losing any part due to sea waves or wind.
